WATERBURY, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 8, 1999--Gail Feinstein has joined Webster Bank as vice president and insurance product manager for Webster Insurance, the insurance subsidiary of Webster Financial Corporation (Nasdaq: WBST), the bank's holding company.
In her new role, Feinstein will develop new insurance marketing initiatives for Webster Insurance.
Webster Financial Corporation announced its acquisition of Damman Insurance Associates, a privately-owned Westport-based insurance agency, in June of 1998 as part of its strategy to offer individual and business customers a single source for banking, investment and insurance needs.
Prior to joining Webster, Feinstein spent more than 14 years at Bridgeport-based People's Bank. Most recently she was responsible for insurance marketing at People's. She also played a key role in the development of the bank's marketing strategy for supermarket banking, which included the opening more than 44 in-store branches in Connecticut.
She is also a member of the Executive Board of Directors of Jewish Family Services in Bridgeport. Feinstein received a bachelor of science degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She lives in Monroe, Connecticut.
