HSA Bank Boosts Online Capabilities for Employers

Dec 08, 2009

WATERBURY, Conn., Dec. 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- HSA Bank® launched its newly redesigned web portal for employers. The portal, known as HSA Bank's Employer Administration Area, features several enhancements to boost the online capabilities for employers to more quickly and easily manage their health savings account (HSA) program with HSA Bank.

The expanded capabilities build upon the Group Online Contribution technology HSA Bank developed specifically for HSAs in 2005. The enhancements allow employers of all sizes to easily set up contributions to employees' HSAs by uploading a file of their employees into the Group Online Contribution system. HSA Bank also offers new reporting capabilities for employers to quickly and easily review the contributions being made to employees' HSAs. Now, employers can view a summary of current and prior year contributions made to each employee across any of HSA Bank's contribution methods.

"Employers communicate a common desire for the administration and management of their HSA program to be easy," said Becky Seefeldt, marketing director at HSA Bank. "The enhancements we made to our Employer Administration Area, specifically the Group Online Contribution system, make it more accessible and efficient for larger employers while strengthening the capabilities for small and mid-size employers."

In addition to the new functionality, HSA Bank has improved the speed and performance of its Group Online Contribution system and implemented a new webpage design that has more intuitive navigation. The performance upgrade will be most noticeable when employers set up a new contribution and the navigation is more descriptive to help users get to their desired pages faster.
