Webster Bank Promotes Karl D. Adamsons to SVP

WATERBURY, CT, December 5, 2011 - Webster Bank, a leading regional bank, today announced the promotion of Karl D. Adamsons to senior vice president - group financial manager.

Adamsons, who has been with Webster since 2000, has been serving as the business financial officer responsible for supporting consumer finance since 2009. He is credited with enhancing the quality and comprehensiveness of financial insight.

He earned his bachelors degree in economics from the University of Connecticut and his masters in management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
