WATERBURY, Conn., October 15, 2012 — Webster Bank, a leading bank serving businesses and consumers from Westchester County, N.Y. to Boston, Mass., today announced the hiring of Jackie Jamsheed as senior vice president, director of operating risk management (ORM). Jamsheed will be a member of the Risk Leadership Team and responsible for the operational and enterprise risk management function for Webster Financial Corporation and Webster Bank.
“Jackie brings to Webster a diverse set of risk and operational experiences from the financial services and manufacturing industries with roles that include audit, financial controls, and operations,” said Daniel Bley, executive vice president and chief risk officer. “As director of ORM, she will be responsible for overseeing and advancing the bank’s ORM program, partnering with the business units to identify operational risks and trends, establishing mitigation solutions, and driving operational excellence.”
Most recently, Jamsheed was a director of internal audit at Cigna. Prior to that, she was controller at UTC Power Corp.
Jamsheed is a resident of West Hartford, Conn., and will be based in Farmington, Conn. She earned her undergraduate degree from Syracuse University, an MBA from University of Virginia, and an MS in accounting from University of Connecticut.
