WATERBURY, Conn, October 1, 2012 – Webster Bank, a leading bank serving businesses and consumers from Westchester County, N.Y. to Boston, Mass., today announced the hiring of Tara Gregson as senior vice president, Affinity Marketing.
Gregson brings more than 16 years of marketing, branding, and relationship building experience to the new role. Previously, she served as vice president of branding at Foxwoods Resort Casino, where one of her key areas of responsibility was sponsorship and partnership management. At Webster Bank, Gregson will be responsible for the management and activation of affinity relationships, including the newly announced unique agreement, where Webster Bank is now the Official Bank of the UConn Huskies and the Alumni Association. Additionally, she will also oversee cultural, sporting, entertainment and community partnerships and corporate giving programs.

Gregson earned her bachelors degree in marketing from Canisius College. She is based at Webster’s Waterbury, Conn., headquarters.
